On Monday 4th was held at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the University of Skopje, capital of the Republic of North Macedonia, the inauguration of the BIM Knowledge and Skills Management Center.
The implementation of the center has taken place within the framework of the European program TRAINEE (TowaRd market-based skills for Sustainable Energy Efficient Construction), an initiative whose objective is to increase the number of qualified professionals and operators in the construction sector, with the capacity to implement measures of energy efficiency in operation and maintenance, in order to significantly reduce the energy bill of the Balkan country thanks to the BIM.
BIM Academy, cofounder of the Center and an international member of its board of directors, was represented by Ignasi Perez Arnal (founder) and Vangelis Rosios (operations director) who are participating in a series of planned parallel activities TRAINEE, highlighting a series of presentations and workshops for architects, engineers, contractors and developers who are presented with the basics of the BIM methodology.

About TRAINEE: TRAINEE (TowaRd market-based skills for sustAINable Energy Efficient construction) is a project funded by the H2020 Research Framework Program (Energy efficiency call CALL 2016-2017; Topic EE-14-2016-2017: Construction skills) of the Commission European (Grant Agreement No. 785.005), which began on May 1, 2018 and will end on October 30, 2020, after 30 months of work.
